1. Design and Planning

11. Flooring

Installing the flooring as late as possible in the renovation process saves your flooring surface from significant damage.
12. Siding, Gutters
Exterior work on the outside of the house.

With the house mostly finished, it is safe to put on the siding. You do not want to do this earlier (unless absolutely necessary) because doors and windows may get punched out, ruining the siding.

13. Leftover Material
When working on just about any kind of construction there will be plenty of debris, industrial scrap, and leftover material to take care of once things are said and done. One is done with these things is ultimately up to the owner of the home. Services exist that can take care of the debris and take it away in specialized vehicles, and there is also a scrap metal pick up service that can take care of any leftover scraps and material that will no longer be needed. In these cases they are able to dispose of it in what they deem is the best way possible. As such, usually a green approach, as in recycling, is employed.
